BLACK LABEL PET DESIGNERS SHOWROOM

LAUNCHES AT WORLD TRADE CENTER IN

DALLAS, TX

Dallas, TX (Nov. 1st, 2008) –  Setting the standard in quality and excellence for luxurious pet lifestyles, Black Label Pet Designers showroom launches in the World Trade Center in Dallas, TX.  Known for her marketing success  and family background in launching ready to wear labels in fashion, Heather Poole has launched the first ever ready to wear pet designers showroom,

Launching with designers such as Manfred of Sweden, Emma Rose Design, Hunter of Germany, Poochie of Beverly Hills, Diamond Dogs, Dog In The Closet, CeCe Kent,  Italtrend, Little Star, Pet Art Studio, Hartman and Rose Collars and Heather Ford Custom Jewelry (diamonds for people who love their pets), the showroom will feature unique designs from manufacturers all over the world.  In speaking with Hope Plott, of Hope Plott and Associates, a better apparel showroom for 27 years, “it only makes sense for ready to wear to enter the pet industry, but only the true luxury lines will do for upscale retailers. We are finding that more and more specialty and upscale ready to wear boutiques are adding pet sections to accommodate their clients. Dallas is the easiest market to fly to and the most economical to stay in. The buyers love it.” The World Trade Center hosts 4 gift shows a year and 5 ready to wear markets.  This gives the pet designers exposure throughout the year.”

Hope has had showrooms since 1982 and has since grown her showroom into the largest and best showroom in the World Trade Center, launching labels and building brands such as Mary McFadden, Marie St. Claire, a division of Carmen Marc Valvo, One Girl Who, Michael Simon, Joseph A, Jan Barboglio and Alberto Makali over the years and presently has 16 upscale manufacturer lines.  Working with key buyers from Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstroms, Dillards, Tootsies, Barney’s, Stanley Korshak, Grand Casinos, MGM, Golden Bear Catalog and many others including high end specialty boutiques throughout the US, Hope and her team of professionals have grown her showroom into the premier ready to wear showroom in the Dallas market. She believes that Heather Poole, who has an extensive marketing background and whose family has been in the fashion industry for 40 years, will do the same for the upscale pet industry.

“We are continually looking to add new designers to our showroom.  We have a juried selection process to ensure the consistency and standard of what the showroom is about” said Heather.

.“We are honored to be working with Heather Poole and her new venue,” said Janice Ford Grimes, who is opening a 4 million pet hotel in the cultural district of Fort Worth in the spring with a very upscale pet boutique. “The “Black Label Pet Designers Showroom” represents an environment for buyers of both the ready to wear industry as well as the pet industry.

The Black Label Pet Designers will open for the Jan 14th market in Dallas, Texas
